These terms apply when you use kivumobile.com to get an offer and sell a device to Kivu Mobile at one of our locations. Kivu Mobile is a business of Saversville LLC, an Ohio limited liability company.
1. Offers and cash codes
An online offer is for the exact device, storage, carrier lock status and condition you select. It is not a promise to buy until staff have checked the device.
Your offer is good until closing time on the second day after you get your cash code, at the location you picked. The exact time is on your code and in the email.
A cash code can be used once, only at the location you picked, during its opening hours.
2. Who can sell
You must be 18 or older, show a valid government photo ID, and own the device or be authorized to sell it.
3. Device checks and the amount paid
Staff check that the device matches what you selected: model, storage, condition, that it works, and that it isn't signed in to an account, reported lost or stolen, or managed by a company.
If it doesn't match, staff may offer a lower amount and will tell you why. You can accept it or keep your device. We never pay more than the offer.
For "Something else" codes, the shop gives you a price in person.
4. Payment
We pay in cash when the sale is recorded. You'll get an email receipt.
5. Your declaration
Before payment you confirm that you own the device or are authorized to sell it, that it isn't lost or stolen, and that you meet the minimum age. Selling a device you don't have the right to sell is against the law, and we report suspected stolen devices.
6. Your data on the device
Please back up, erase and sign out of your device before you sell it. We require devices to be erased and signed out before we buy them, and we aren't responsible for data left on a device.
7. Refusing a sale
We may refuse any device or sale, for example if a check fails or we suspect fraud.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any sale is limited to the amount we paid for the device.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you sell applies to that sale.
